Add Fun To Your Pool With A Slide
A backyard swimming pool is great, but over time can get boring for the family. Eventually, owners will not use it as much. So if you want to bring life back to the backyard fun, then here is an idea – try jazzing it up with the purchase of a pool slide.
Contrary to what most people think, slides do not just belong in water parks. Home owners can also take advantage of having a slide. Just make sure to choose the right model and style for your pool and your yard.
And to help choose the right one, here are some guidelines that you should follow.
1. Check with your local town and county to make sure there are no ordinances or codes about pool slides. If there are restrictions, make it a point to follow these rules to a tee so you would not have to deal with having to remove and maybe return your slide to the store.
2. If you are going for thrills without any expense spared, then definately have one designed by an engineer just for your pool. But if you want something that is easily removed and installed again, just go ahead and buy those collapsible slides on the market which are made from PVC, plastic and/or fiberglass.
3. Consider what style you are looking for. The classic straight slide occupies a lot of space or would you rather experiment on a curly slide with a lot of bumps? Whatever your choice is, just make sure that the design of your choice is appropriate for the people who are going to use it. If one expects a lot of kids to play on your pool slide, then perhaps the simple straight design will work best.
Following these common guidelines will make your task of choosing a slide less arduous. As long as you follow them then one can be assured of finding the perfect fit. Now before we end everything, here is a final tip that we can impart. If one is not familiar with pool slides, then do not attempt to install the slide yourself because it can just be too risky and dangerous for your family. A pool slide which is installed improperly can cause accidents or even deaths.

Depending on how busy it is, and what you may have missed, you may just opt to use your second day to revisit the Magic Kingdom.
Other than that, I would probably recommend a visit to Disney's Hollywood Studios for your second day. While Epcot does have things for a 6 year old to do, it is more geared towards older kids and adults.
Animal Kingdom is also a good choice. Every 6 year old loves animals, and one again, depending on how crowded it is, this may be an all day undertaking (keeping in mind that Animal Kingdom closes earlier than any other park, usually around 6pm or so.)
As for strollers, there are little "parking lots" for the strollers for when you go on rides. You don't need someone to watch the stuff because there are security cameras all over.
And for watersparks, Blizzard Beach is geared more toward the teen demographic. There are more thrill slides and body slides. Also, It is probably my imagination, but it seems like the water there is colder! Lol. I don't know if you have read the stories behind the parks on Disney's site, but the theme behind Blizzard Beach is that there was a freak snowstorm in Orlando, and some guys built a ski resort. Then the snow melted, and now we have all these water rides. There's even a ski lift up to the tallest slide in the park! I like Blizzard beach because of its family raft ride and its water roller coaster. However, I find it harder to get around.
Typhoon Lagoon has less thrill rides, more tube rides. There is a place where you can rent snorkel gear and "swim with the sharks" (They're actually behind glass, but you could never tell). There is also an awesome wave pool. The theme behind this park is that there was a typhoon in Florida. (Disney really seems to like the weather and natural disasters). Both parks have awesome lazy rivers, but I believe Typhoon Lagoon's is longer, and it actually takes you places! Typhoon Lagoon is better if you have small children or want to relax, whereas Blizzard Beach definitely has a faster pace. They shoot cold water at you in the lazy river, for goodness sakes!
I hope I helped. Have a great time!
Dear Mice, Swimming in the pool doesn't work out well for you and it grosses me out. Thanks, BVB
You could if there's no chemicals…but most algae eaters live in tropical waters and you would have to use multiple heaters to heat the tnak, which would cost alot.

An image of the West Edmonton Mall World Waterpark, dating probably from about the last time that I was there. The short green slide near the centre is Cannonball Run, since replaced by something that looks like an alien toilet bowl.
